In addition to Frusciante’s work with the Red Hot Chili
Peppers, the talented guitarist has spawned some critically
acclaimed solo work beginning in 1994 with Niandra LaDes
and Usually Just A T-Shirt, two years after he first
left the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Since then, his solo work
has spawned nine studio albums, one free download album on
his website, and three EP albums; his most recent solo
album, Curtains, was released in 2005.
He has worked with other musicians in his solo work,
including Josh Klinghoffer (session musician and producer)
and Joe Lally (of Fugazi), with whom he forms the group/side
project Ataxia.
